Case study: Engaging industry Case Study 1.6 MB
This case study examines how Tangaroa Blue's Operation Clean Sweep project targeted plastic pellet pollution in the Yarra River and Port Phillip Bay.
The 'Operation Clean Sweep' program manual contains guidelines to help plastics industry operations managers reduce the accidental loss of pellets from all parts of the plastics value-chain into the environment.
The Plastic Resin Pellet (PRP) rating tool is a visual assessment tool for PRP pollution. It is designed to make data collection at factory sites efficient, easy and comparable.
These 'Operation Clean Sweep' advertisements were featured in plastic industry magazines, and were designed to encourage plastic manufacturers to sign up for the program.
