Lessons from Bright Sparks
Great article about the overwhelming public response to Bright Sparks - an e-waste recycling business that took small appliance donations for repair and/or resale. (They received some pilot funding from Metro Fund Round Three). Trouble was it was too ‘successful’ so now the model has to be re-worked!
Looking forward to the next phase where the focus will be more on encouraging people to repair and love the stuff they own - rather than buying new appliances.
