Networks

The Metropolitan Waste and Resource Recovery Group facilitates a range of networks:

• Metropolitan Local Government Waste Forum (Forum) – supports the effective operation of MWRRG and consists of a councillor and a council officer from each of the 31 metropolitan councils.

• Local Government Waste Education Network (Ed Net) – a network of waste and sustainability educators from councils in metropolitan Melbourne.

• Councils Litter Environment Action Network (CLEAN) – a network that explores litter issues and approaches.

• Resource Recovery Centre & Transfer Station Network (RRC/TS Network) – a network that assists councils in developing best practice approaches at transfer stations and resource recovery centres.
